This is one of those articles that is a nice – make that important life lesson for all of us.
How many of us have been seated at a coffeehouse or anywhere for that matter, in ‘our zone’ and been approached by a stranger, wanting to strike up a conversation? And how many of us have done whatever we could to shut down the conversation, even before it began?
There are several lessons to be learned here, I think the most important is something most of us were taught as children: You can’t judge a book by its cover. I think the takeway for all of us, is that more times than not, if were to stop, drop and roll – we might be surprised. And much to our delight that stranger may be more than a distraction, but someone with a lesson to teach us, and even quite possibly a new friend.
